Tewkesbury Music
Centre is open to anyone from 8 to 18 wanting to sing, or to play
their instrument in an atmosphere just "buzzing " with music.
If you sing - just bring your voice - no experience necessary.
If you play an instrument - you could join in with many different
activities including: orchestras, brass group, jazz group, percussion band,
hand chime group, flute group, reed instrument group, mixed chamber group -
and there are theory classes too…
If you sing and play - do both!
A junior department takes care of beginners (or members just joining) until
the time feels right to move on to the Senior Department.

Can’t make up your mind? - come to one of our meetings on a Friday to
have a look. You could come with a friend. Mum or Dad could come and have a
look too if you like.
If you then decide to become a full member, an annual subscription is
payable which works out at around £3 per session (unless if you just want to
join the choir and choose not take part in any of the other activities).
Once you have a full membership card, you could also join any of the other
youth groups run by Gloucestershire Music for free.
